Sierra Surf Soccer Club is excited to launch our Fall Academy—the perfect introduction to the beautiful game for our youngest players. This opportunity is open to children born in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Our Academy is built around the FUNdamentals of soccer, creating an exciting, age-appropriate environment where children can learn, play, make friends, and begin their journey as part of the Sierra Surf Family. Every session is designed to develop confidence, creativity, coordination, and, most importantly, a lifelong love of the game.

Academy Details

• Duration: August 17 – October 26
• Location: Upper South Valley Fields
• When: Mondays | 5:30–6:45 PM

Each 75-minute session includes:

• 45 minutes of engaging games and skill development
• 30 minutes of exciting 3v3 free play, allowing players to apply what they’ve learned in a fun, game-like environment

This format provides the ideal balance of learning and play for young athletes while keeping sessions energetic and enjoyable.

Space is limited, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Learn from our Director of Coaching

The Academy will be led by Sierra Surf Director of Coaching, Debs Brereton, who brings a wealth of experience and passion for developing young players. Debs holds a U.S. Soccer A License, is a U.S. Soccer Coach Educator, has earned the United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, and has more than 15 years of NCAA Division I and Youth coaching experience.

Your Sierra Surf Journey Starts Here

Our Academy is the first step in the Sierra Surf player pathway. Players will build a strong foundation before progressing into our competitive teams beginning at the U8 level, giving them the confidence and skills to continue their development for years to come.
